Who we are
The Portuguese American Civic League of Bridgeport, Connecticut promotes the civic, educational and social welfare of Portuguese and Americans of Portuguese witihin the Bridgeport area.
Our Mission
To elevate the standing of Portuguese in Portuguese Americans and strive for the good character and unity among all Portuguese, striving for a better education and social interests.
Get Involved
We seek financial support to fund scholarships for children of Portuguese Americans.
Investing in our future youth
Over the years the Civic League was able to award thousands in grants to over 100 college-bound students. This was made possible through the generosity of local businesses and personal donations.

Encourage the citizens of Portuguese descent to be involved in heritage and events in the community.
