The Portuguese American Civic League

The aim and purpose of The Portuguese American Civic League of Bridgeport, CT is to promote the civic, educational and social welfare of Portuguese and Americans of Portuguese descent in the Bridgeport (CT) area.

Our goal is to elevate the standing of Portuguese and Portuguese -Americans and to interest and encourage the citizens of Portuguese descent to be involved in heritage and events in the community.

One of the primary goals is to financial assist the children of Portuguese decent to obtain a better education and encourage better civic and social interests of the overall Portuguese community.

This volunteer-driven organization is non-partisan  in all political affairs, while teaching and encouraging the upholding of the principles set forth in the Constitution of the United States and the State of Connecticut.
